November 19 class summary

I was really impressed with the different web sites that I could use in my classroom such as StumbleUpon, iDesktop, t4Jordan, page flakes, Joost, and spacetime. I am next in getting my smartboard and would like to use these sites in the classroom to help students better understand the material we are studying. Again, I find that I have to consistently use the computer or I forget things, such as the cut and paste feature. It is ok to be shown something, but unless you use it, you (or I) will lose it. Again, thanks for your patience in helping us who are still computer challenged. I didn't realize that Excel was on the desktop because I don't use it. I am learning by bits and bits. It is a start!!!!
